I am gazing at my reflection in the mirror. I lean closer and closer to the mirror while I look into my own eyes and try to discover my being. I want to understand who I am. Hopelessly, I want to find out what is hiding beyond my physical self, what identifies me, and what it looks like. I try to imagine it. It thrills me. It creates the feeling that people have on a roller-coaster, as it suddenly shoots down from the top of the wave. It scares me but excites me as a shiver runs through my body.

This is my first memory. Since then, I have created art.

I’m Sára Várady, creating art for nearly two decades as a reflection of life through a spiritual lens. Through oil paint, ceramics, etching, and performance, I translate inner landscapes into colour, form, and movement.

Trained across five countries, I hold a BA in Fine Art from the University of Dundee and an MA in Print from the Royal College of Art, London, with scholarships including the East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai and Universitat Politécnica de Valéncia in Spain. I have studied and exhibited internationally — in Hungary, Scotland, the Netherlands, Wales, Spain, China, and the UK.

Each piece carries its own energy. When chosen, it transforms a space visually and energetically, becoming more than decoration — an investment in emotion, inspiration, and everyday meaning. I am fascinated by how art finds the right person and continues to energise and uplift their life.
